Let's Go Calgary Flames

Latest

Flames vs. Predators

The Flames did not have their best game against the Predators (20-21-7). on January 14, 2014. Both the teams each scored one goal in the first period, and no goals were scored in the second period. However, the Flames gave up 3 goals to the Predators and only managed to score 1 goal for themselves in the third period. The Flames now have one home game and then another away game.

Hurricanes vs. Flames

The Flames had a good game on January 13, 2014 shutting out the Hurricanes (19-18-9). The score was 2-0 with the Flames scoring in the 2nd and 3rd periods. Their first goal was in a power play that was scored by Mikael Backlund. The second goal was scored by Sean Monahan.

Fleury, the Penguins goalie was about to become the sixth goalie to shutout the Flames in 8 games, but the Flames managed to stop that with a goal in the third period at 11:29.

Rally up Flames

The Calgary Flames haven’t won many games and for those games that they have won, its only been by a point or so. Cammalleri had a good game against the Colorado Avalanche as he had led his team to victory, but even so the rest of the players (on the team) should also be following his example and be rising up to the occasion. They must rally and then bring their full force upon the other team.

Calgary Flames vs. Coyotes

The Calgary Flames went 0-6 against the Coyotes scoring no goals at all. They really need to get their defense up and start looking for openings within the opposing team’s defense. Overall, if they had done that, then this game might have been much closer.

Blues vs. Flames

The next game will be a home game against the St. Louis Blues (30-7-5). If the Flames don’t allow any bounces into their goal, and get their defense and offense together, they should be able to win this.

How will the Flames do against the Coyotes

The Calgary Flames are doing ok so far, as they did well in their last game in the Colorado Avalanche, but they still have more losses than they do in wins. As they won a 4-3 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Monday, they should be prepared for a hard game against the Coyotes (as they have faced the Coyotes earlier in the year and won 4-1), but I am sure that they will win.
